Scar-Lead Salvation is a brutal and stylish third-person roguelike shooter from Compile Heart, Neilo Inc., and Idea Factory. Set in a mysterious, enemy-infested military facility, the story follows Willow Martin, a young woman who awakens with no memory and is guided by a strange AI. To survive, players must navigate procedurally generated levels, face mechanical foes, and uncover fragments of Willow’s forgotten past.
Combat in Scar-Lead Salvation is fast-paced and strategic—mastering dodges, parries, and building up “Exo Force” allows players to enter a devastating Onslaught Mode for short bursts of invincibility and high power. Every death resets progress, but like all true roguelikes, each run offers the chance to grow stronger and dive deeper into the facility’s secrets. With a gritty sci-fi aesthetic, a variety of futuristic weapons, and an evolving narrative, Scar-Lead Salvation blends action and story into a relentless cycle of death and discovery.
Originally released on May 29, 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam, the game will also launch for Xbox Series X|S in Fall 2025.
