The demo was revealed hot on the heels of a brand-new trailer released as part of IGN Live, showcasing the slick action and the fire soundtrack that await you as you fight to reclaim the planet:
The new demo gives you a taste of the action with Ra Ra BOOM’s prologue. The level showcases what the cast is fighting to save and just how they’ll be doing it – with the chance to try out the host of different weapons Aris, Saida, Ren and Vee have at their disposal to take out an array of different AI-powered enemies, including the level’s boss, Super Arnold.
This is not your average beat ‘em up. Ra Ra BOOM cooks with turbo-charged four-player co-op action, blending fast-paced classic beat ‘em up gameplay with ranged combat in a lane-based 2D sidescroller. Ra Ra BOOM integrates these horizontal lanes naturally into its hand-drawn environments, making sure you’ll never miss your mark in both melee and ranged combat.
In Ra Ra BOOM, each playable character also sports their own weapons and abilities, giving you four completely different, explosive takes on combat with new abilities to unlock and skills to upgrade. Ra Ra BOOM’s killer soundtrack doesn’t miss a beat either – with a non-stop score of heart-pounding, rock-tinged beats courtesy of DJ duo Toy District. Ra Ra BOOM keeps both the energy and the BPM sky high.
