LOS ANGELES – JUNE 9, 2025 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, unveiled the first trailer for Solo Leveling:ARISE OVERDRIVE during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025. Based on the hit webtoon Solo Leveling, this upcoming new action game will invite players to take Sung Jinwoo’s journey to console and PC platforms. The Xbox Games Showcase is one of the most influential game events for the summer season, drawing tens of millions of viewers annually. Solo Leveling:ARISE OVERDRIVE’s debut at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 marked a historic moment as the first time a game developed exclusively by a Korean studio has been showcased at this prestigious global event.
The newly released trailer highlights Solo Leveling:ARISE OVERDRIVE’s fast-paced, cinematic combat in a plethora of game modes. The action game has been developed for both PC and console platforms, allowing players to explore all-new gameplay elements, including but not limited to cooperative raids that support up to four players. Players will also get to experience the new “Monarch’s Awakening” battle feature that allows Jinwoo to undergo a physical transformation into a fully awakened Monarch to pack an even bigger punch.
The game features enhanced combat mechanics, including console-standard “block” and “parry” features to allow players to block or deflect enemy attacks. Parries can also be followed up with QTEs (Quick Time Events) that temporarily stagger enemies.
