PSVR2 launch will include visual overhaul in base game ‘Glow-Up Update’
RIGA, LATVIA – May 6, 2025 – Dreads, the first DLC for barber and tattoo master VR sim Shave & Stuff from HyperVR Games, played by more than 500,000 users, experiments with new styles on SteamVR and PSVR2 on Tuesday, May 27th.

Choose from scissors, trimmers, razor blades, and more to cut hair and beards in challenges made to improve salon skills. Cut too much off? Regrow it instantly and add a rainbow of colored dyes to create incredible transformations!
More than 30 new scenarios await in Shave & Stuff’s first DLC, Dreads. Enter the Dread Cabin to customize thick, thin, and curly locks for customers’ heads and beards, and add over 15 specialty rings to further accentuate their style. Defy the laws of physics when choosing each lock’s length and direction, creating stunning airborne styles never attempted before!
Design bold new looks of every kind in Creative Mode. Try out every tool, color, and accessory with customers open to their artists’ vision. Straighten hair into spiky anime fashions, shape punk mohawks, or bring their mullets back – the only limit is imagination! Doodle a catalog of tattoos like beautiful butterflies, adorable hearts and bunnies, and crave-worthy croissants and sushi for more courageous clients.
The ‘Glow-Up Update’, available on PSVR2, will freshen up the colorful workspaces in The Barbershop, The Tattoo Salon, the Dread Cabin, and Creative Mode through major visual overhauls.

Shave & Stuff’s ‘Dreads’ DLC will dream up new styles on SteamVR and PSVR2 on Tuesday, May 27th, and is currently available on Meta Quest for USD 5.99 with English language support. Shave & Stuff is also available for USD 14.99, with a Meta-exclusive combo including the base game and Dreads DLC for USD 17.99.
