Acclaimed Roguelite Deckbuilder Arrives This March
Tallinn, Estonia – Wednesday 19th February 2025 – Mark your calendars and sharpen your strategies: Aether Sky is thrilled to announce that Gordian Quest will officially launch on iOS and Android on March 27th, 2025.
This marks the first time mobile gamers can immerse themselves in the critically acclaimed deckbuilding RPG that has already captivated players on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
Blending classic RPG elements inspired by Ultima and Dungeons & Dragons with modern roguelite mechanics, Gordian Quest challenges players to build a team of epic heroes and lead them through a land ravaged by a dark curse. With strategic turn-based combat and rich deckbuilding gameplay, mobile players can experience the adventure wherever they go.
“Bringing Gordian Quest to mobile has been an exciting journey,” says Justin Ost, Founder of Aether Sky. “We’re eager for mobile players to dive into the game’s unique mix of modes, heroes, and challenges, whether new to the title or seasoned adventurers.”
Previously acting only as a non-exclusive distribution partner for other publishers and developers across third-party PC and Mobile stores globally, Aether Sky has seen some success and signed well-known games into its portfolio with licensed IP including Doctor Who, Warhammer: 40K, Game of Thrones, and Peaky Blinders amongst others. Gordian Quest will be the company’s first exclusive publishing release and an important milestone as it continues to grow.
Gordian Quest will be available for free on mobile platforms, with a one-time purchase unlocking the full game. Players can also enjoy most of the game’s popular Realm Mode—a fast-paced, Slay the Spire-inspired roguelite—without cost, giving them a taste of the game’s deep replayability.
Key Features Include:
- Campaign Mode – A four-act epic journey through the cursed lands of Wrendia, from the troubled Westmire to the enigmatic Sky Imperium.
- Realm Mode – A dynamic rogue-lite challenge with endless possibilities, ever-changing threats, and unpredictable rewards.
- Adventure Mode – Explore procedurally generated areas or take on solo challenges in this end-game mode.
- Ten Unique Heroes – Assemble your team from a roster of distinct classes, including the Swordhand, Druid, Golemancer, and more.
- Hundreds of Skills – Discover and combine nearly 800 passive and active abilities to master your strategies.
- Loot and Relics – Equip your heroes with powerful items to boost their abilities.
- High Replayability – Randomised maps, dungeons, and skill combinations ensure no two playthroughs are alike.
- Difficulty Options – Tailor the challenge with hardcore permadeath modes or more casual experiences.
