Fan-favorite characters Billy and Jimmy Lee are ready to fight on PC!
Valencia, Calif. – December 4th, 2024 – Two legendary warriors are back…and now on Steam! Independent game studio WayForward, in collaboration with Arc System Works, is thrilled to announce that the River City Girls 2 Double Dragon DLC is now available to purchase worldwide on PC via Steam. Priced at $7.99, this premium content adds fan-favorite fighters Billy and Jimmy Lee from the Double Dragon series to River City Girls 2 as playable characters, following the content’s release on Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A new Steam bundle — which lets players purchase the River City Girls 2 main game and the Double Dragon DLC together at a discount — is also available, while a free update adds extra content for all Steam players.
Featuring a bone-crushing arsenal that draws upon the 35-plus-year legacy of the Double Dragon series, each Lee brother is ready to rumble with awe-inspiring special attacks and full story-mode integration. New dialogue from returning voice actors Dan Avidan (Billy) and Arin Hanson (Jimmy) of the Game Grumps enhances the hard-hitting action, as do the epic “We’re the Double Dragons” rap song (performed by Hanson and Avidan with music by series composer Megan McDuffee), and new dojo master Boro. Meanwhile, the free content update adds a Double Dragon themed motion comic, a Double Dragon inspired training dojo, character color palettes, same-character online gameplay, the “Devil’s Candy” shop (a crossover with the popular manga of the same name), and the “Season’s Beatings” shop, which sells a powerful, exclusive new accessory every two months.
To celebrate the release of the River City Girls 2 Double Dragon DLC, the entire River City Girls series — River City Girls 1, 2, and Zero — will be 50% off on Steam until December 19, 2024.
