LOS ANGELES – September 26, 2024 – We have reimagined how Creators and players experience and interact with MapleStory in Nexon’s MapleStory Worlds. Everyone can join together to create, explore and play rich and thriving user-generated Worlds. Excitement awaits when the platform soft launches on October 16 in North America and South America. For players in other regions, the platform will be available in the future. MapleStory Worlds soft launches on PC, iOS, and Android.

With powerful worldbuilding tools and over 30 million MapleStory Assets to choose from, Creators of all levels can build Worlds for any game genre using the enormous library of MapleStory Assets or their own assets. Whether using simple drag-and-drop tools or advanced Lua scripting, Creators have endless possibilities to bring their imaginations to life. They can also design in-world and avatar items and set a revenue model. Players can then purchase these items.
Players have the freedom to explore and play any of MapleStory Worlds’ one-of-a-kind experiences. These Worlds can support a large number of players, providing them with numerous social features so they can share their experience with friends. Standard social features are friends lists, text chat, and chat rooms.
Players can customize their avatar with hundreds of options such as facial features, hair color and style, clothing options, accessories, and more. If they want to wear something that doesn’t exist, they can create new items for others to enjoy and earn revenue by selling their items in the avatar shop. They can also select custom items from their favorite Creators, enhancing the community experience.
