Get ready for a Halloween spent in the haunted halls of Taiwan’s infamous Wen Hua University
London, U.K. – September 25th 2024 – PQube, in collaboration with SOFTSTAR ENTERTAINMENT, is gearing up to get you ready for Halloween by announcing that their hit horror title, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication, will be arriving on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on October 24th. Set within Wen Hua University, renowned in Taiwan for its ghost tales and folklore, this first-person survival horror sees you playing as four distinct characters trying to make it through the night alive.
Intent on resurrecting a decades-old campus ghost story, the daring group of film club students orchestrates the ‘Carnival of Horror’ within the infamously haunted ‘Da Ren’ building. As they begin to film, the line between fiction and reality blurs, and inexplicable events begin to unfold. Navigate Wen Hua’s authentically realised winding corridors with echoing footsteps as you try to outwit and evade the formidable ghosts pursuing you, from the sinister ‘Mad Ballerina’, to the bizarre ‘Sergeant Huang’.
Gather cryptic clues, unearth hidden artifacts and solve mind-bending puzzles as you are drawn deep into the hidden conspiracies buried within Wen Hua. Use the school map to uncover hidden pathways and utilise escape routes while confronting the relentless terrors of your haunting stalkers.
“We are very excited about bringing The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication to PlayStation, Xbox and Switch on October 24th,” said Tyrone Walcott, Product Group Manager. “The response to the game’s PC release was fantastic, particularly with it blowing up on Twitch, and we can’t wait for a new audience to experience that excitement and terror when the game hits consoles next month.”
