SHANGHAI, China – April 10, 2024 – The Hungry Lamb: Traveling in the Late Ming Dynasty, the dark visual novel pushing moral boundaries from developer Zerocreation Games and publisher 2P Games, conquers inner demons on PC via Steam today at 9pm PST/ 12am EST.
After losing everything in the Great Tianqi Explosion, Liang is reduced to a husk of his former self and resorts to a life of crime. Killing for profit became a lucrative means of income as Liang wanders through the rebellion-stricken country. One day an unsavory merchant commissions him to escort four young girls to a wealthy lord. Liang slowly learns the lord is a swine demon that eats young girls, and must challenge his wavering morals on this epic journey of redemption.
Abducted from various walks of life, each girl has her own traits and personality requiring particular care and attention. Foster trust and bond with the young girls in an era of war and turmoil. Carefully make decisions, as each choice leads to distinct branches and consequences. Collect all of the different endings and discover the true finale of the story.
Traverse through the Ming Dynasty in hand-drawn illustrations combining traditional Chinese and modern animation styles. Become immersed in a chaotic adventure voiced by industry veterans Hanser and Hua Ling (Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail), among others. Over 260,000 words of text and nine different endings await.
