Chaotic Brain Studio, the creators of Neon Blood, will be at Gamiberica this weekend in Porto

Madrid Spain, 24th November 2023. This weekend, from the 24th-26th November, the Chaotic Brain Studio team will be showing Neon Blood to the Portuguese audience at Gamiberica. Gamiberica is part of the Meo XL Games event at Exponor in Porto, one of Portugal’s main gatherings for gaming, eSports, and Virtual Reality.

One of Gamiberica’s main objectives is to create connections within the Spanish and Portuguese indie industry, whether it’s between studios, investments, talent, etc. Creating a space for this is very beneficial for all parties, thanks to the collaboration between IndieX and IndieDevDay.

Stay tuned to both Chaotic Brain Studio and publisher Meridiem Games’ social media channels for updates from the event throughout the weekend.

About Neon Blood

The year is 2053 and the world as we know it came to an end in a war lost in time. Now, only inequality remains, in the form of Viridis, the great city that encompasses the dangerous Blind City and the luxurious Bright City.

Axel McCoin, once a police detective, will become the key piece to unmask a whole plot of corruption and power that plagues the unstable peace of Viridis.

Experience the stories of the city and its inhabitants, accompanying Axel in his mission to overthrow the established order and demolish the foundations of this corrupt society.

Watch the announcement trailer for Neon Blood below:

  • Neon Blood unveils an elaborate and deep story with a cyberpunk theme that serves as a thread to tell the story of Axel and the relationships he will establish throughout his adventure.
  • Character interaction and exploration will lead the Axel through the micropolis of Viridis revealing the different realities of the two cities to players.
  • Neon Blood has been created using stunning 2.5D visuals, based on the use of 2D sprites in PixelArt with 3D-modelled environments, maintaining an aesthetic differentiation between the 2D characters and the 3D environments.
  • Explore the two deeply contrasting cities with markedly different aesthetics – the futuristic sc-fi cityscape of Bright City and dark, gritty cyberpunk-inspired Blind City.
  • Use the investigative skills of detective Axel McCoin to reveal the dark secrets of Viridis and set in motion a revolution that could destroy the foundations of society.

Neon Blood will be launching in 2024 for PC via Steam, PlayStation and Xbox consoles and Nintedno Switch. Fans can wishlist the game now at the PlayStation Store and Steam.
