Sydney, Australia – July 5, 2023 — Today, Ubisoft releases The Settlers®: New Allies on Xbox One, PlayStation®4, Amazon Luna* and Nintendo SwitchTM. The series is coming to consoles for the first time with adapted controls as well as fully supported cross-play and shared progression across all available platforms, including PC. With backward compatibility, the game is also available on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation®5.
Developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf, The Settlers®: New Allies is a modern take on the long-established The Settlers’ franchise, combining elaborate infrastructure and economic gameplay with tactical real-time battles. Starting with a small group of Settlers, players must explore their surroundings, build up their settlements and optimise resource production to recruit new settlers and an army able to protect their land. Researching economic and military upgrades is critical to create a strong army and overcome rivals.
The Settlers®: New Allies console version includes all game modes and content already available on PC:
- A story-driven campaign with thirteen campaign missions.
- A multiplayer mode for skirmish battles in Solo vs. AI, co-op vs. AI or PvP featuring up to eight players, with thirteen skirmish maps.
- The Hardcore mode for players willing to test their adaptability and strategic skills in a solo or co-op PvE environment.
Powered by Ubisoft’s proprietary Snowdrop engine, the inviting and lively medieval-fantasy world of The Settlers®: New Allies offers colourful environments and detailed animations across thirteen diverse skirmish maps available at launch.
The Settlers®: New Allies is available in two editions: the Standard Edition containing the base game, and the Deluxe Edition which includes the base game, the deluxe pack (in-game digital content, digital artbook and soundtrack) and the Explorer pack (in-game digital content).
For sixty days, The Founders Pack will be given for free for any purchase of The Settlers®: New Allies on console. This special offer ends on September 2, 2023.
