With today being the day it is, usually fans cannot take any game announcements serious but Sega has been an exception in the past and it turns out, this year they are also releasing something special for April Fool’s day. The company has released The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, a visual novel that takes place on Amy’s birthday where she hosts a special murder mystery party for her friends on the Mirage Express but something more dangerous actually be happening in the background.
Players will take on the role of an original character that must interview and investigate some of the favorite characters from the series. The visual novel has been released for free on PC through Steam and the company even released a trailer and screenshots to accompany the game that can be found below.
