Although the word “Itasha” may originally mean a painful or “cringeworthy” car to drive around there are many anime and video game fans who have taken this idea as something of a symbol and during the Anime Magic! 2022 conference while there was plenty to see and do, a certain highlight happened to be the fact that the “Itasha Alliance US” had swung by to show off a number of vehicles showing off numerous series.
Itasha Alliance was founded back in 2016 in Southern California by a group of car and anime enthusiasts. The main of goal of Itasha Alliance is to seek and unite owners and fans of itasha across the country and at this event they brought fourteen cars, each showcasing a different series and offering different models, to show off to those in attendance. We took a number of photos of each vehicle and they can all be found below, including very detailed Genshin Impact and Uma Musume designs.
