Australian launch details including pricing and free-play account options revealed as Beta Play continues

Perth, Western Australia – October 14, 2021 – Pentanet, NVIDIA’s first GeForce NOW Alliance Partner in Australia and New Zealand, is proud to announce GeForce NOW™ Powered by Pentanet will be available next week. Local pricing and other opportunities have also been announced.

The Beta Quest phase saw Aussie Gamers complete over 250,000 quests. As Beta Play continues to provide invaluable feedback, Pentanet revealed that more than 3 million minutes have been played on GeForce NOW during Beta Play, equalling over 5.7 years in since invitations were first sent mid-September. In that time, over 100,000 cloud gaming sessions have taken place.

Launching on October 19, all players across Australia will be able to experience the amazing visuals of real-time ray tracing streamed with RTX ON via GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet, using a vast variety of hardware options.

Users will have access to a library of over 1,000 games, and can play them by connecting accounts from popular game stores, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, GOG.COM and more. Players will also have access to almost 100 free-to-play titles, instantly, included with GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet.

At launch, players have two membership options: ‘Basic’ and ‘Priority’. With GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet’s limited-time Founders ‘Priority membership, players will be able to truly unleash the power of the service, with RTX-ON enabled gaming and extended play sessions. If there’s a queue to play GeForce NOW, priority members will always be right at the front.

Basic memberships will be available for a limited time, allowing players to check out a limited version of the service for free to experience some of the power of real-time game streaming. Basic sessions are limited to an hour and do not support RTX features.

To celebrate the launch of GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet, players have the opportunity to select the limited Founders Priority pricing. From 5pm AWST, users can claim a Priority membership for AU$19.99 per month on a month-to-month subscription or a discounted rate of AU$17.99 per month for a 12-month subscription.

An FAQ about Pentanet and the GeForce NOW service in Australia is available here:

This is the current list of GeForce NOW games, subject to Australian classification:

Pentanet is a Perth-based, growth-focused telco delivering high-speed internet to a growing number of subscribers by providing them with next-generation internet speeds. This is achieved through Pentanet’s market-leading private fixed-wireless network, the largest in Perth, as well as reselling fixed-line services, such as NBN, where its wireless is not yet available. Pentanet’s flagship fixed wireless network has benefits for both customers and investors, offering an outstanding customer experience and a fixed-wireless product that is technically superior to most of the NBN – with attractive margins for investors. This sets Pentanet apart from most broadband providers, which only resell the NBN. Pentanet will also be part of the rollout of the next wave of subscription-based entertainment services – cloud gaming.

The Company’s Alliance Agreement with NVIDIA – a world-leader in accelerated computing for gaming, data centers, self-driving vehicles, and more – allows Pentanet to be the first to bring their GeForce NOW technology to Australia in 2021. Pentanet was listed as #28 in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500TM Asia Pacific 2020, a ranking of the region’s 500 fastest growing technology companies. On top of the Company’s #28 overall ranking, Pentanet also ranked #3 for Australian companies on the list.
