San Francisco – August 10, 2021 |Skystone Games and indie developer Coffeenauts are pleased to announce the release of a brand new limited-time Xbox demo for the upcoming action adventure game Spacelines from the Far Out. As announced and played live during the /twitchgaming Showcase: ID@Xbox, the demo is now available through the Microsoft Store for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. You can still catch the event via VOD at twitch.tv/twitchgaming or twitch.tv/xbox.
In addition, The Xbox Ambassadors will be hosting their Summer Games Party all through August 2021. There will be a planned live stream of the demo and Q&A with one of our developers in August – more on that soon! During the Xbox Summer Games Party, fans can join in live for a chance to chat and hang out with special guest devs, other Xbox gamers, and participate in giveaways that include all sorts of goodies as well as top prizes like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes and Designed-for Xbox OtterBox accessories.
Spacelines from the Far Out will be launching on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam this Fall.
Spacelines from the Far Out is a heavily comedic sci-fi party, co-op, rogue-lite, tycoon, space sim, action-RPG game that blends the golden era of air travel with the utopian space age of the ‘60s.
Features include every trope imaginable from the “glory” that was mid-century Planet Earth. This means players can expect incredibly bad food, dance-offs, random encounters of the 5th kind, repairing broken equipment, dealing with gravity loss, piloting 101, vomit puddles (yes, we said it…), floating vomit puddles (again…), hull damage, space hazards, asteroids galore, lack of fuel, various paid entertainment features, price hikes, and the Inspector.
