SEGA REVEALS SONIC AND TAILS IN SUPER MONKEY BALL BANANA MANIA
Sonic The Hedgehog and Miles “Tails” Prower join the monkey gang at launch on 5th October
Sydney, Australia – 12th August 2021: SEGA® has announced beloved duo Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles “Tails” Prower are rolling into Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania as playable characters! The Blue Blur and his two-tailed sidekick will be free and unlockable through normal gameplay on all platforms on 5th October 2021.

This special birthday collaboration celebrates the respective 20th and 30th Anniversaries of Super Monkey Ball and Sonic The Hedgehog, with Sonic and Tails joining the monkey gang sporting classic character models that honour their historic legacy. Both characters will be playable in all 300+ levels and collect rings in lieu of bananas as they speed through the wondrous worlds of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania launches on 5th October 2021 for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will also support Xbox Series X Smart Delivery immediately on release, ensuring players will only have to buy the game once to play it on their favourite Xbox console. Additionally, buy the PS4™ version play the PS5™ version at no extra cost.
