Stellar Commanders: Friend & Foe game update introduces instant matchmaking with friends, three single-player campaigns and fresh content for new and veteran players
Zurich, Switzerland – 1 July 2021. Swiss strategy game developer Blindflug Studios today announced Stellar Commanders: Friend & Foe will launch worldwide on 2 July for Apple Arcade and PC. Stellar Commanders is a launch title for Apple Arcade, now updated with new ways to play and new features to connect with friends around the world.

Stellar Commanders is a deep and fast-paced multiplayer strategy game where players fight for control over distant planets on a 3D tactical map. Players have just seven minutes to eliminate their opposition using a deep roster of sci-fi troops before the planet explodes. Go to war with missiles, tanks, stealth generators and satellite weapons to strategically dominate the opposition.
The new Friend & Foe update expands Stellar Commanders with:
- Friends Assembly – Matchmake with a friend by just sharing a code and play together to unlock new units and rewards.
- Explorer’s Path – Play new single-player story campaigns for all three factions with daily missions that provide new challenges. Experience a story for each faction on the way to two new planets, with missions that change the rules and offer new challenges even for veteran players.
- New Content – With six new units, players now have 60 playable units to choose from and define their strategy. Friend & Foe also adds 36 new skins and two new maps – Grindill and Forseti.
Stellar Commanders is available now on Apple Arcade and Steam. The Friend & Foe Update hits both platforms on 2 July, and the Steam edition will receive the previously Apple-exclusive Tantalus – The Black Market game update.
