New animals prepare to make a splash
Walnut Creek, Calif. (June 29, 2021) – Take off your fur coats because Modus Games and Pixile Studios today announced Super Animal Royale is headed to the beach! The game’s Super Summer Royale event has begun, packed with new content for fans to enjoy. Play now on Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access.
This limited summer event will be live until July 20, so get in on the fun while there’s still time. Collect fruit baskets to earn 8 new limited-edition summer rewards as well as 17 returning items from previous Summer Royale events. The event also introduces brand-new summer animals–the Super Dragonfruit Wolf and Super Avocado Sloth!–that can be obtained in the Research Lab using DNA. If you travel to the southern shorelines of the island, you’ll now also find beach balls that you can and should kick. Just try not to get…you know…killed…while you’re playing beach soccer. All this and more is available in the Super Summer Royale event.

Super Animal Royale is a battle royale with a zoological twist. Play as your favorite cuddly, genetically modified animal picked from 300+ breeds, find your style with 600+ cosmetic items, and jump off the back of a Giant Eagle and into a 64-player fight to the death! You’ll fire shotguns and sparrows, toss grenades and bananas, ride emus and hamster balls all the way to the top of the food chain. Available now on Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access, the adorably vicious battle royale is also coming to PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia later this year. Additionally, with Xbox Game Pass Perks, players will get the Founder’s Edition free.
