Toronto – June 3, 2021 – Clapfoot Inc., the video game studio behind the popular persistent war strategy game, Foxhole, today announced that it has changed its name to Siege Camp in preparation for the company’s future plans. The name change also reflects the company’s commitment to players that it will continue to push the envelope for massively multiplayer war games.

Since launching Foxhole, the studio has grown in size to match the game’s expanded scope and community, which has reached almost 100,000 members on the official Discord server alone. Siege Camp is growing again and is currently hiring in multiple positions.

“Over the last few years, Foxhole has evolved from an experimental demo with just a handful of users to a full-scale online war populated with thousands of players every day,” said Mark Ng, co-founder of Siege Camp. “Our goal is to build persistent online worlds with densely-packed battlefields. The new name is a commitment to this vision for many years to come.”
