Tag-Team Fighter Accepts New Challengers in Official Touhou Game
TOKYO – 22 April 2021 –Touhou Hyouibana ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers, the tag-team Touhou fighter from developer Twilight Frontier in collaboration with Team Shanghai Alice and publisher Phoenixx, takes to the skies today on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
Duke it out in 2v2 battles above the magical land of Gensokyo in this official Touhou title set between the 15th and 16th entries in the series. Launch blistering assaults against foes and dodge their rebuttals in 2D versus battles integrating bullet hell mechanics.
Execute simple-input special moves only requiring a joystick and single button combination to set up various punishing combos and guards. Enhance a Primary fighter’s arsenal with abilities granted by the Secondary fighter’s Spell Cards and swap characters at will. Unleash a blitz of lightning-fast combos and skillful dodges to overwhelm opponents.
Learn how to use each character and get to the bottom of the Perfect Possession incident in Story Mode. Fight as one of 19 Touhou characters, including series heroine Reimu Hakure.
Fighters ready to test their might can battle other players in their choice of local play, or online multiplayer. Learn the ins and outs of each character in the Training mode, and put those skills into practice with the Vs. COM mode.
