It has been revealed that Atlus will be bringing the 2004 released Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne to modern consoles in the form of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. The developers are aiming to have the game released on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 29th in Japan while the worldwide release will arrive in spring 2021.
This remastered release will feature various improvements such as better graphics, voiced event scenes should the player choose to have them on, extra gameplay, and a new “Merciful” difficulty option alongside previously included Normal and Hard modes, which many may appreciate as this isn’t the type of series to take it easy on players, especially when encountering a certain skeletal foe.
