Dungeon Defenders: Awakened Summons PC Version 1.0 Today on Steam
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – 29 May 2020 – Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, the epic return of Chromatic Games’ multimillion-selling co-op tower defense action RPG series,emerges victorious from Steam Early Access today with its 1.0 PC launch. The Nintendo Switch version joins the battle in Q3 2020, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases in Q4 2020.
Return to the realm of Etheria in a new adventure built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 4. Experience the next evolution of Dungeon Defenders’ beloved fusion of action and tactics across a full-fledged campaign featuring fantastical new locations and returning fan favorites. Dungeon Defenders: Awakened 1.0 also debuts a range of special gameplay modes, towering bosses to surmount, and mountains of shiny loot to collect and equip for the battles to come.
Choose from one of four playable heroes and embark on an epic quest to save the land from encroaching armies of goblins, orcs, dark elves, demons, and other vile creatures. Prepare to fight during the Build Phase, creating crafty defensive barriers and overwhelming offensive structures to slow and thin the enemy’s ranks. Then leap into fray during the Combat Phase, weaving between foes while unleashing powerful character-specific attacks, abilities, and skills.
Fight to defend Etheria either solo or as a squad of up to four Defenders in online matches. Celebrate victory with hard-earned loot after clearing waves of enemies. Equip new weapons and armor while enlisting the help of pets to gain an edge before testing the team’s might in encounters with imposing bosses, such as the fiery and fearsome Ancient Dragon.
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened launches into version 1.0 with six difficulty modes crafted for Defenders of all experience levels, including Massacre mode, a new challenge with unique enemies to overcome. Experiment with varied game types like Pure Strategy and Mixed modes, each of which has specific rules to remix the core gameplay to test even hardened veterans, and tackle Challenge Maps, which raise the bar while sweetening the pot with greater rewards.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is out now on Windows PC via Steam for $29.99, with a 15% launch week discount. Free downloadable content, including a fifth playable hero, more maps, additional gear, and new collectible pets, will be released later this year alongside the upcoming console versions.
