YAGER LAUNCHES THE CYCLE’S FIRST SEASON OF CONTENT
The competitive quest shooter’s new season pass adds tons of free and premium unlockable content
BERLIN – Oct. 22, 2019 – The first season of The Cycle, YAGER’s free-to-play competitive quest shooter, is here! “The Lost Prospector” update introduces the game’s first season pass, featuring over 100 levels that players can hit to unlock new, exclusive content.
The Cycle’s first season pass — the Fortuna Pass — is available for the next three months in two tiers, each with its own unique rewards:
- The Silver pass (free for all players) includes 30 unlockable rewards.
- The Gold pass (premium, available for 950 Aurum) is packed with over 120 unlockable rewards, including two new archetypes (the Thrill Seeker and the Veteran), new weapon skins and coatings, melee weapons, emotes, and banners that can be planted during a match to mark territory.
- Gold players can still level up the free Silver Fortuna Pass, giving them access to over 150 unlockable rewards in all.
- Players can also complete daily and weekly challenges to speed up their Fortuna Pass progress.
Over half a million players have battled across the alien frontier of Fortuna III since launch, and YAGER remains committed to continually improving and enhancing the experience. The team recently launched a brand-new item shop with daily and weekly item offers for purchase. And players can look forward to even greater surprises in the future, including a ranked matchmaking mode and all-new story missions offering insight into this mysterious world.
You can keep up with future updates by following YAGER’s new content development roadmap for The Cycle: https://trello.com/b/6LuxGQiP/the-cycle.
The Cycle is a match-based first-person shooter with a focus on PvEvP action: complete jobs, defeat hostile lifeforms, gear up with new weapons and powers, out-score other prospectors, and make it off the planet alive before it kills you. The Cycle delivers a competitive multiplayer experience where everyone can survive, but how you choose to stake your claim can make all the difference — form squads with friends, make uneasy alliances with strangers, or go it alone.
