Prison Architect’s Popular Escape Mode DLC Now Available on PlayStation 4 & Launching on Xbox One August 31st
Escape Mode DLC flips the award-winning builder formula on its head
Teesside, England – Aug. 28, 2018 – Developer and publisher Double Eleven, in partnership with Introversion Software, announced today that the Escape Mode DLC for the BAFTA-winning and multi-million selling Prison Architect is now live on PlayStation 4 and will launch on Xbox One on August 31st. The Nintendo Switch version of Escape Mode launches in a few short weeks.
The Escape Mode DLC is based on the well-loved PC mode, where players can take on the role of an inmate and attempt to escape the prisons built by themselves and others. In Prison Architect, players build and manage their own maximum security prison to hold the most hardened of criminals.
Fans already playing Prison Architect on Xbox One can nab Escape Mode on its own or via a DLC bundle on August 31st (which includes all Prison Architect DLC, All Day and a Night, Psych Ward and Escape Mode), and those new to the title can pick up the base game as part of Microsoft’s Games With Gold promotion starting September 1st.
Originally released on PC in 2015 from developer and publisher Introversion Software, the game has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide and achieved critical acclaim among dozens of global media outlets.
