Get your wallets ready for some pain! Valve kicked off the massive Steam Summer Sale today. This year, the Steam Summer Sale runs from June 21st to July 5th.
This year is bringing a brand new community-driven mini-game. Saliens: Fight the Duldrumz is a beach defender type game. The community will need to work together to take back five planets from the Duldrumz. Each planet has an 8 by 12 grid. Players will need to survive a two minute assault to contribute to the capturing of the tile. Players who participate will get three Steam Summer Sale 2018 trading cards for every three rounds played and will also be entered in a draw for free games.
The contents of the mysterious Steam Spring Cleaning event has also been revealed. Packed inside are three cosmetic items to dress up their Salien. More Salien cosmetic items and special abilities as players level up their Salien.
