New Trailer Teases Intense Hack N’ Slash Gameplay and Immersive Story for Darkness Rises Available Worldwide on June 21 for iPhone and Android

Seoul – June 13, 2018 – NEXON Korea Corporation, subsidiary of NEXON Co., Ltd. (“Nexon”) (3659.TO), a worldwide leader in free-to-play online and mobile games, today announced the June 21 release date for the highly-anticipated new story-driven action-RPG Darkness Rises. Along with the announcement, NEXON unveiled a new gameplay trailer highlighting Darkness Rises’ innovative gameplay, rich story, gorgeous visuals, hellish locations and intense battles that envelop players in the game’s dark imagery and gritty medieval world. Pre-registration is still available for iPhone and Android at the NEXON website.

Darkness Rises’ unique gameplay and intuitive console-inspired mechanics translate flawlessly to mobile where players descend into the fiery pits of The Underworld to battle vile hordes of violent demons obsessed with escaping the sweltering Underworld to ravage the world’s peaceful inhabitants. A variety of playable characters boasting unique abilities wield powerful weapons, rideable monsters and more to to defeat daunting enemies. The game’s co-op modes challenge players from around the world to pair-up for unnerving dungeon raids, or go head-to-had against friend or foe in the PvP arena.
