Beloved Mobile Trading Card Game Resurrects Frozen Master of the Polearm Responsible for Sealing the Black Mage in Content Update for iPhone and Android

Seoul – June 21, 2018 – Aran, the powerful Master of the Polearm who was among the six famed heroes who sealed the dastardly Black Mage, returns to Maple World in the latest content update for MapleStory Blitz, the premiere mobile trading and battle card game from NEXON Korea Corporation, subsidiary of NEXON Co., Ltd. (“Nexon”) (3659.TO), a worldwide leader in free-to-play online and mobile games. Aran is available now in the latest update on iPhone and Android.

MapleStory Blitz provides new and veteran MapleStory fans real-time strategic gameplay paired with “cardified” Maple World monsters and skills. The Aran update offers several new gameplay features, including a new hero, fresh cards, and exciting events that ramp up the intense PvP combat the series is known for. The update features include:

  • Aran, a Powerful New Hero – Aran, the Frozen Master of the Polearm, was one of the six heroes responsible for sealing away the Black Mage. After decades of frozen slumber trapped in ice, Aran returns as a force to be reckoned with;
  • Exclusive Trading Cards – 39 new cards have been added, include Maha, the feisty spirit of the Polearm, Lilin, sister of Neinheart, and the kind-hearted penguin Puro;
  • Celebration Events – Players can receive several coveted rewards by participating in the following special events:
    • In-game Event – Obtain five stamps to earn a gift box and reach Level 10 to obtain the Middle School Lilin Portrait;
    • Attendance Event – Log in to claim five bonus Aran Exclusive Cards;
    • New Player Event – New players will receive 300 NCoins and 30,000 Mesos.
