VICTRIX TEAMS UP WITH CAPCOM FOR CAPCOM PRO TOUR 2018

San Diego, Calif. (March 15, 2018) – Pioneering esports hardware maker Victrix (www.victrixpro.com) has announced that the Victrix Pro AF™ ANC esports headset will be the official headset of the Capcom Pro Tour (CPT). As a platinum sponsor, Victrix Pro AF headsets will be featured on the main stages of the 19-stop CPT Premier Circuit for the 2018 season as professional fighting game players face off across the globe.

The partnership kicks off at CPT’s Final Round, which takes place March 16-18 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, GA. The CPT is the premier league destination for competitive fighting games. Featuring Street Fighter® V: Arcade Edition, the latest flagship title of the legendary Street Fighter® series, CPT brings together players and spectators from all over the world to share their love of fighting games. Now Street Fighter® V players will get the opportunity to use the cutting-edge esports headset to secure their place at Capcom Cup 2018 for a prize pool worth over $600,000.

The Victrix Pro AF was inspired by aviation headsets and configured specifically for tournament pro’s needs. Professional players were invited to participate in a highly selective beta program, providing useful feedback for Victrix engineers and designers. The result is the Victrix Pro AF, an esports headset with many features never before seen in gaming.

  • Hybrid active noise canceling (ANC) system that employs four microphones backed by a powerful algorithm to actively listen and eliminate around 70% of the background noise, which rivals aviation grade headsets in noise cancellation performance.
  • Patent pending cooling mechanism that reduces heat and humidity levels instantly upon flip of levers in each earcup.
  • An in line controller inspired by aviation headsets but optimized for esports pros, allowing the user to adjust custom settings from volume to mic and gain to mic monitor levels via an elegant interface running on an OLED screen with ease.

“Every aspect of our product is optimized for the professional gamer’s needs. With our strong noise cancellation performance, players on CPT main stages will cancel out most of the crowd noise; helping them focus and hear every audible clue that matters,” says Ozhan “Oz” Maker, Victrix General Manager.
“We’re longtime fans of the FGC and the Capcom Pro Tour and can’t wait to show how our tech can make a positive difference for the community.”

Victrix Pro AF ANC, the flagship model featuring active noise cancelling, ships June 9 for $299.99. Pre-orders are available now at VictrixPro.com, and early adopters of the limited edition model receive $100 off while supplies last.

The Victrix Pro AF is only the first product in a new, high-end line of esports hardware coming from Victrix. Follow the company on twitter at @VictrixPro to stay on top of all of the exciting and game-changing products Victrix is bringing to the esports community.
