Massive announced today that Tom Clancy’s The Division will be getting its inevitable sequel. While the new shooter/RPG hybrid does not have a release date, Massive has revealed the logo for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and a few details. The new game will use an updated version of the Snowdrop engine, which currently powers the original The Division. Additionally, a full reveal is planned for E3 2018 in June.
While The Division 2 is in active development, Massive still has plans for The Division. Two more patches and monthly events are planned until September. Shields achievements will be added to the game starting in June. These special achievements will unlock content in The Division 2.
