KONAMI Reveals Single Player and Beta Details for Metal Gear Survive

Sydney, 14th December 2017 – Konami have revealed a first look at the single-player campaign for METAL GEAR SURVIVE through a new gameplay video with producer commentary via Konami’s official YouTube. The video introduces basic survival and gameplay mechanics while showing key action sequences.

METAL GEAR SURVIVE will be hosting a beta from January 18th-21st, 2018. The beta will give players the chance to jump into co-op to build, defend and fight alongside friends online. The beta will be available for PS4 and Xbox One players. Additionally, players will also receive an in-game bonus that will be redeemable with the purchase of the full game. Bonus items include a FOX HOUND name plate, an accessory Metal Gear REX Head and Accessory bandana.

The release day of METAL GEAR SURVIVE was recently confirmed for PlayStation®4, Xbox One™ and PC via steam on February 22nd,2018.

METAL GEAR SURVIVE picks up from the final stages of METAL GEAR SOLD V: GROUND ZEROES. Players are pulled through a wormhole where they find themselves in a dangerous world filled with biological threats and hostile environments. Players must survive and find their way back home. Not only will they fight off deadly creatures, but they will also experience and explore the environment while they forage for food, water, and resources to stay alive.
