Ubisoft released a brand new trailer today for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle that pays homage to musical theatre called “The Phantom of the Bwahpera.” Featuring a giant boss floating on a bubble with a gramophone, the trailer is a mix of cinematic battles and a few short clips of gameplay. The trailer is set to a musical number taunting Mario and the Rabbids with such gems like mocking Mario’s limited vocabulary and a reference to Princess Peach being in another castle.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a crossover of epic proportion for the Switch. After the Mushroom Kingdom is torn apart by a vortex, the Rabbids find themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom. Four Rabbids dressed up as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi will join their actual counterpart in an adventure game with turn based combat and plenty of co-op challenges. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle comes out on August 29.
