New RiME Dev Diary Talks about Creating Fun & Accessible Worlds

Tequila Works released their third developer diary today featuring interviews with the developers about their vision for the RiME’s world. Most of the video is in Spanish with English subtitles.

Tequila Works chose to focus on creating a game that strikes a balance between being accessible to all gamers while still being an entertaining challenge. The team created an environment that uses subtle cues like lock motifs and sound to guide the player in the right direction. The result is a world that ties artistic design and gameplay mechanics into a tight package.

RiME is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows on May 26. Switch owners will have to wait until later this summer to get their hands on the game.
