When Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey is released in the West fans will find that the game has a few new elements to offer in the way of combat. Your party members will now be capable of wielding sub-weapons with each character being able to use a main weapon and two sub-weapons that have their own skill effects and specialties, giving players more strategic options in battle.
The other change to combat comes in the form of the Chain Burst attack that utilizes the Linkage Gauge and can be triggered when full to launch a large number of moves at the opponent all at once.
