Nvidia announced the release of their budget friendly GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 laptop cards today ahead of CES 2017. The cards are designed to run most games at 1080p at 60FPS. DirectX 12 support, Nvidia Ansel, Nvidia G-SYNC, and Nvidia GameWorks technologies are all supported. Nvidia boasts that the cards run up to three times faster and more efficiently than the last generation’s Maxwell cards.
There are over thirty laptops from manufacturers like Acer, Alienware, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI running GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 cards set to launch in the new few months. Nvidia expects prices to start at $699 USD.
