Aniplex of America has just announced their plans to release the film Doukyusei -Classmates- and a box set of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television series on Blu-ray.
The box set of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television series will feature all twelve episodes with dual language options. On-disc extras include the trailer collection, the textless opening and ending animation and the music video of the ending song “Magia” by Kalafina. A 4-page insert will be included as a physical bonus. The package is illustrated by character designer Takahiro Kishida. It has a suggested retail price of $149.98, but can be pre-ordered online for $119.98. It will be released on August 23, 2016.
The release of Doukyusei -Classmates- will feature the film with Japanese audio and English subtitles. On-disc extras include the preview video and commercial collections. Physical bonuses include a deluxe booklet and illustration cards. The package is illustrated by the series’ author Asumiko Nakamura. It has a suggested retail price of $74.98, but can be pre-ordered online for $59.98. It will be released on September 20, 2016.
