The company may have missed out on the chance to blow people away since there was a leak earlier in the day, but Square Enix still treated their big event with style by announcing that Final Fantasy XV will be released on September 30th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Potential buyers will have the option of a standard version as well as an Ultimate Collector’s Edition and Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe version will include an exclusive steelbook, the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV film, and a collection of bonus DLC items.
As for the Ultimate one, it will include a 192 page hardcover art book, an exclusive steelbook case, a special soundtrack featuring music from the game, Kingsglaive, and Brotherhood anime, the anime itself, and even an exclusive Play Arts Kai Noctis figure to go along with some in-game bonuses. This version of the game is very limited however and only 30,000 will be made.
