Kodansha Comics announced three new manga acquisitions at their Anime Expo panel. The expo was held in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Kodansha will begin releasing Akiko Higashimura’s manga series Princess Jellyfish in February 2016. It will be published in deluxe, large-format 2-in-1 editions. Each volume will contain over 400 pages, some of which will be in colour, and special features.
Next up is the license of Hoshino Taguchi’s manga series Magatsuki. It will start being released from February 2016.
Finally, Kodansha will begin releasing the manga series Real Account starting in March 2016. It features art by Shizumu Watanabe and a story by Okushou.
Kodansha also announced that they will be changing their release schedule for Noragami. Starting with volume 7 in October 2015, new volumes will be released monthly instead of bimonthly.
