The original announcement for Batman: Arkham Knight’s first story DLC was a bit short on visual goodies. Warner Bros. is addressing the lack of visual stimulation by releasing a high-octane trailer of “Batgirl: A Matter of Family.”
The trailer sets the stage for the Batgirl DLC, where Joker has kidnapped Batgirl’s father Commissioner Gordon and threatens to kill him if Batman shows up. With the help of Robin, Batgirl will kick ass and take names to put a crimp in Joker’s plan. Afterall, Joker can’t kill Commissioner Gordon if Batman doesn’t show up. The trailer caps off with Joker and Harley Quinn together, who hasn’t shacked up with Poison Ivy in this universe quite yet.
Batman: Arkham Knight “Batgirl: A Matter of Family” will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on July 22 for $10.45 AUD or $9.99 USD. No word yet on the PC version still.
