The upcoming sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is releasing in Japan next month and one of the big mysteries the film promises to unveil was Frieza’s new form which would allow him to take on the likes of Goku and Vegeta even though their power levels easily surpass his own at the end of the Z arc. The form is pictured below and there is even an awesome brand new trailer that features the form in action along with a cameo appearance from Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, one of Akira Toriyama’s latest manga works that takes place within the Dragon Ball Universe.
Obvious spoilers here so anyone that doesn’t wish to see Frieza’s new form or the trailer leave now and check out all the latest Dragon Ball Z news on the site, from more news on Revival of F to our review of the new game Dragon Ball Xenoverse. The new image of Frieza’s final form and video can be found below this poster. If you do check it out, be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.

It only took 9 minutes for somebody to complain. God bless the internet.

Haha, I have to agree though I am not a fan of this new form. It looks like Frieza is dressed in some sort of gold compression suit. I wish Toriyama went the other way with his designs, I know he’s going for simpler sleeker looks, but forms like Cooler 5th form are just way more badass.

Absolutely LOVE it.

While I love Cooler’s 5th form it has a more horror look and doesn’t really fit into the Z universe. The coloring is the same as his previous and I feel that Toriyama after conveying in the Freeza saga that his humanoid sleeker form was the one that allowed him to put out the most power wanted to continue along that vein. The mask and long cutting protrusions in Cooler’s arms don’t have a general audience feel which is what the studio is aiming at I’m sure.

It makes sense for the current design philosophy definitely, just doesn’t look as cool in my mind. Maybe its the colours or something I don’t know because I don’t mind Frieza’s Final Form at all.

Not a fan of Gold Frieza. If this is god power or immortal colour i can live with it. I dont want it to be another transformation from 100% form.
