As many Blazblue fans know, you can always count on a new “enhanced” version of each title being released somewhere down the line and it looks like this time the new version will be making the jump to current-gen consoles. Leaked details, courtesy of Hokanko, from this week’s issue of Famitsu reveal that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation 3 in Japan on April 23rd.

This is especially good news for Xbox fans who could not play the original version of Chrono Phantasma when it was released by Aksys Games in the West due to limited disc space preventing the title from being released on that platform. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will include Celica and Lamda-11 as well as an extra “Extend” storyline. Expect more details as they become available.
