Wargaming to Open Up World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition to All Players This Weekend
Non-Xbox Live Gold Account Holders to Get Three Extra Days of Access
March 27, 2014 — Wargaming is happy to announce that this weekend they’ll be opening up the game to players who don’t have Xbox Live Gold account status. Previously, access for those players was limited to a 7-day timed trial.
Starting March 28th and running until March 30th, those players will be able to get back into the action, even if they have already exhausted their allotted demo time.
This new access period will give all players the chance to experience the culmination of the Map Madness campaign, which tasked players around the world with hitting a tank destruction quote. After tens of millions of kills, the players succeeded in hitting their goal, with the last map, Prokhorovka, slated to be released Friday morning.
