Fans of the sports manga Haikyu!! have reason to be excited. News has broke that an anime adaptation of the popular Shonen Jump volleyball manga series has been green-lit.
The news has come through the form of posters the have begun circulation through Japanese book stores announcing the anime adaptation. The anime adaptation of Haikyu!! is set to be produced by Production I.G. who previously adapted another Shonen Jump sports manga to critical acclaim (Kuroko’s Basketball).
No date or casting details have yet been revealed for the Haikyu!! anime series. Stay tuned for further updates on this upcoming anime series as news comes to light.
