JBL is continuing to fill their line up with portable speakers for the smartphone toting crowd. The new JBL Charge is a Bluetooth enabled speaker that can recharge USB devices with the Charge’s on board 6000 mAh Lithium ion battery. The battery charges in approximately three hours and lasts for approximately 12 hours of playback. The speaker accepts audio from either a Bluetooth device or a 3.5mm cable. The speaker has a built in bass port for thundering bass reproduction. The JBL Charge comes in blue, black, and green and will be available later this month for $199.99 AUD.
The JBL Flip is the smaller sibling to the Charge. It accepts input from both Bluetooth and 3.5mm analog cable. The Flip contains a built in microphone for answering calls or talking to Siri. The Flip is available in black, white right now. New colours such as red will be available in mid 2013 for $149.99 Â AUD.
