Switzerland says file sharing is no biggie

At least one government has a shred of common sense. Instead of throwing out ludicrous ideas like the USA and other countries, Switzerland calmly assessed digital copyright issues and came to one sensible conclusion: “file-sharing is not a significant problem” and piracy is scary only to “large foreign production companies.” They also say that these aforementioned companies need to buck up, adapt to changing consumer technology and stop wasting everybody’s time with stupid legislation. Ok, ok, they were a bit nicer than that. Nevertheless, their words of wisdom should inspire all countries to stop bills like SOPA before they are even submitted.
