Konami has recently released some beta gameplay footage of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which has been one of their most well recieved Castlevania games as of late. In this footage, Simon Belmont (TEH VAMPIRE HUNTER!) strikes down evil. Later in the development process, he was struck down himself and replaced with Gabriel Belmont. Recently, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow swept the gaming industry awards at the Gamelab Conference in Barcelona, earning 8 honors including ‘Best Game’.
