I bet you have never heard of the word Harlequin before. If you have, then let me look up the definition for those of use (including me) who haven’t.
–noun
- ( often initial capital letter ) a comic character in commedia dell’arte and the harlequinade, usually masked, dressed in multicolored, diamond-patterned tights, and carrying a wooden sword or magic wand.
- a buffoon.
- any of various small snakes having bright diamond-pattern scales.
The first definition is probably the best for this situation. Anyway, Gamestop is offering a pre-order bonus of a Harlequin costume for use in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. You will probably not be stuck with a wooden sword and a wand. Strike fear into your opponents as your dance towards their death, because that mask is creepy as it is.
OH! and I totally get why she is called Harley Quin now! The chances of her real name coinciding so closely is coincidental.
