Today Killer is Dead received not only a new Japanese trailer from Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture but a new English trailer by XSEED Games as well. These two trailers are practically identical but the Japanese trailer contains an extra bit focusing on Scarlett. Scarlett will be a character that is found in every level and offers players a chance to tackle various challenges that vary by the stage.
Outside of this extra focus, the trailer itself introduces the various girls that will be playing roles in Mondo’s life in Killer is Dead as well as some glimpses of the game’s combat system and even a trip to the moon. Currently Killer is Dead is set to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in Summer 2013, though the Japanese release date points towards a possible August release.
