New details have come to light on the upcoming 2013 Gintama film through the latest Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The film now has an official title of Gintama the Movie: Final Chapter – Be Forever Yorozuya.
Also revealed was a poster for Gintama the Movie: Final Chapter which can be seen to the right. The film will feature an original story written by Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi an will be released July 6th, 2013 throughout Japan.
The Gintama anime series is rumoured to be once again ending due to a new anime titled Aikatsu! being slated to be taking over Gintama’s time-slot on April 4th so it would make sense if this film is intended to truly be the ‘Final Chapter’ of the series.
