Nintendo Direct January 2013 Wrap Up

Nintendo has launched a bombshell of a Nintendo Direct today, announcing their future plans for the Wii U. Starting off with some examples of what’s happening in the Miiverse, President Iwata quickly moved on to announcing Virtual Console for the Wii U and the upcoming Trial Campaign, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Famicom. Gamers can expect to see Balloon Fight, F-Zero, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong and more. Iwata continued to announce a few more interesting updates and titles such as Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, Wii Fit U, Lego City Undercover and The Wonderful 101 would see releases throughout spring to summer.

So what’s the big news? Well for starters new Super Mario, Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem and a Yoshi’s Story/Island Sequel. Not enough for you? Well the guys behind Xenoblade are also bringing out a JRPG called “X”. Want more? How about a HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker? Want more? Well we’re going to get a glimpse of new Super Smash Bros at E3. Still want more? Great, cause that’s not even HALF of it! Watch the video below and see the rest!
