Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask Out in the AU October 27th!

Layton is back! Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is set to launch this month, and for you peeps in Australia and New Zealand, a release date has finally been announced. On October 27th, fans can both download or purchase the game when it hits shelves.

Of course this is a jam-packed adventure with Luke and the Professor taking the lead, as there is over 150 puzzles in the game and 365 puzzles that will drop on each day after the release…meaning a whole year of new content to look forward to.

Story is of course the backbone of the Layton experience as well, and you can get a glimpse of what’s inside below:

The fifth game in the series sees you pick up with Layton, Luke and Emmy some time after the events of Professor Layton and the Last Specter™. The intrepid trio is called upon to stop the mysterious Masked Gentleman from terrorising the city of Monte d’Or with magically dark miracles, such as turning citizens to stone. The professor suspects the involvement of the Mask of Chaos, a mask rumoured to bestow great power upon whoever wears it. The revelation takes Layton back to a dark episode of his past, which may hold the solution to the problems of the present. These flashbacks introduce Layton’s parents and childhood friend Randall, and allow you to play as the 17 year-old Layton, who pays a high price for discovering his passion for archaeology.

Sounds great to me as this has always been one series consistent in quality. Get your tophats dusted off folks, as Miracle Mask launches in just a few weeks time.
